She enjoyed spending time at his clinic when she was a child and eventually got her first job there when she was in high school. After graduating from the University of Montana Western, she attended the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she returned to work at the clinic in her hometown, before moving to the Portland area and joining the Cornelius Vet Clinic team in 2014.
In her free time, Dr. Angela is an avid skier, hiker, and trail runner. She and her husband Ryan, an airline pilot, also love to travel, visit museums, and watch documentaries. They share their home with their Golden Retriever and our former clinic cat DJ. Outside of work, Dr. Angela volunteers with the Marine Mammal Stranding Network of the San Juan Islands.
Dr. Angela has a particular interest in surgery and has obtained additional specialized training in several orthopedic, abdominal, head and neck, and emergency surgeries.
